According to Bloomberg, young single mothers are most likely to have less of an education, less income of a married couple and their children are more likely to have developmental delays due to poor living situations.

It is our goal to help our young mothers obtain a proper education, job training and parenting skills to take them to the next level financially, mentally and socially.  I believe with the right support system and guidance we can transform our young mothers into mature women that live by our motto...FAMILY FIRST!

THE HARD TRUTH

LESS THAN 2% OF TEEN MOMS EARN A COLLEGE DEGREE BY AGE 30.

The Healing Wombs Project was started in pursuit of providing single mothers a healthier lifestyle.  Many young mothers suffer from a disease known as sex before marriage syndrome.  This disease can be life-changing for anyone; however, for many young girls between the age of 15 to 19 the end result includes, but not limited to minimal education, low-income jobs and poor living situations.  Though, this isn't a real disease it is a real problem that affects over 800,000 teens each year.

Healing Wombs Inc. was birthed from the heart of a single mother that struggled not only with providing a quality lifestyle for her children, but she struggled often with dealing with society's views of her as a single parent; she suffered from a broken womb.  After many years of barely getting by she realized it was time she accepted the fact she became a mother before marriage.  It needed to be put behind her, that way she could finally move forward in her life.  Hence the name, Healing Wombs.  Our purpose is to provide young single mothers a healing process to restore their faith, love and motivation in life despite their odds.  It's a way of giving mothers a second chance at life by restoring their families one womb at a time.
